What to Expect: How Repotting Works
Think of it as a spa day for your plant. 🌿
Repotting is about more than simply moving your plant into a bigger pot. We take the time to assess what your plant actually needs and give it a little extra TLC along the way.
❋ Bring Us Your Plant
When you bring your plant to Bestow, we’ll start with a brief consultation. We’ll chat about how your plant is doing, any concerns you have, and what you’re hoping to accomplish with the repot. No need to schedule an appointment, just come on by!
Once we get your plant out of its pot, we’ll assess the roots and overall health of the plant. We’ll look for things like root crowding, rot, damage, or other issues that may not be visible from the outside.

Every plant has different needs, so we’ll choose an appropriate soil blend and any amendments your specific plant needs for proper drainage, moisture, and airflow.
❋ We Choose the Right Soil
We’ll repot your plant and take care of any necessary pruning, staking, or support. We’ll also clean the leaves and remove any damaged or unhealthy growth.
❋ We Repot & Groom
Before your plant heads home, we’ll give it a general spa treatment to leave it looking fresh, clean, and happier than ever. Because if your plant is already at the spa, we might as well make the most of it. ✨
❋ We Give it a Little Extra TLC
Depending on the size and complexity of the job, we may be able to complete your repot while you wait. Larger repots or multiple plants may need to stay with us for a little while.
